Civil Wedding
Paphos District has three beautiful old town halls where a Civil Ceremony can take place - Paphos, Peyia and Geroskipou.
Or your Civil Ceremony could take place in the delightful outdoor gardens at either Peyia or Geroskipou town halls.
Civil Ceremonies can also take place at many of the local hotel or in the hotel gardens.
Some hotels stipulate you need to be staying in the hotel to hold your ceremony or reception there. But some don't.
Civil Weddings usually take place at the town halls between 10am and 2pm Monday to Friday.
Civil Weddings at your hotel or restaurant take place after 2.00pm at an extra charge, paid direct to the town hall.
The Mayor or Senior Registrar of the Municipality will conduct the Wedding Ceremony in English. The Ceremony is very similar to the UK.
You will be issued with your Wedding License, written in English, immediately following the ceremony.
