It's your Wedding Day and you want it your way

Here's a random forum post picked out to illustrate the problem.

120 days till my Cyprus wedding and I have decided to ditch [major holiday company] and now use a Paphos based wedding planner. The service that xxx offer is so impersonal, I have no idea why I chose to use them in the first place - big case of ignorance I think.

They won't confirm what time my wedding has been booked for even though it is in the Town Hall diary which has been confirmed by the Town Hall.

They won't provide me with exact quotes for any extras that I want to book, apparently extras can only be booked and confirmed in resort.

Im not the sort of person who likes to leave things to chance so enough is enough I'm going to take my business elsewhere.

Fortunately I will only lose the £50 deposit that I paid on the wedding package but I think for peace of mind, that will be £50 well spent.

I feel exactly the same as you but about [another major holiday company]!! Same thing - won't give me a time and they messed around with our flights as well.

I am currently awaiting a reply to a strong letter that I wrote to them to complain about their poor service. The one and only reason I haven't cancelled them is because I don't want to lose our wedding date.

The solution

We meet this problem frequently.  Sometimes it's not just the wedding time that's unknown, it's the date is unknown as well.  It doesn't have to be like that.

When you think about all the costs of your wedding, you want to know what you're getting, what it's going to cost, and most of all it's going to happen the way you want.
