How To Pay For Your Wedding In Paphos

There are two elements to how you pay for our services. They are:
- Our service charge to organise your wedding for you. For the full scope of what we do, read What's Included in the Price?
- Payments to the various suppliers in Paphos we arrange on your behalf.
Our Service Charge
Our Service Charge is currently £495.
You can pay this by either sending us a cheque or transferring money direct into our UK bank account.
Suppliers in Paphos
This includes any services we arrange on your behalf - typically fees for your wedding, the cost of your wedding reception, your wedding transport, your wedding photographer, your wedding florist. Note your hotel will accept credit cards so no problem with any charges you incur there.
These are all payable in cash when you arrive in Paphos.
Why Cash?
In some ways Cyprus is not as advanced as the UK. When you go shopping in Britain, it's normal to pay with a credit card.
That's not the case yet in Cyprus. It's normal to pay for things in cash and that's what local businesses expect.
Bear in mind also that you're probably only going to be staying in Cyprus for a week or so, so if there's any problems you'll probably have flown home before they come to light making it much more difficult to sort things out.
How Do You Arrange To Get Cash in Cyprus?
We guarantee you'll know the total cost of your wedding before you arrive in Cyprus. No surprises, no hidden extras.
So we recommend you bring that amount (plus any holiday spending money) in Euro travellers cheques. Here's why:
- Safer than cash: Unlike cash, travellers cheques can be replaced if they're lost or stolen – almost anywhere in the world and usually within 24 hours.
- Simple to use – and very secure: You sign your travellers cheques twice. First when you buy them, and again when you use them. It's that simple. To protect yourself against loss or theft, write down the serial numbers of your travellers cheques and keep these numbers somewhere safe.
- Widely accepted: Travellers cheques in Euro can be cashed at banks and many other places. You can also exchange your travellers cheques for local currency, free of charge, at thousands of locations around the world.
- No expiry date: Your travellers cheques won't expire. So you can keep the ones you don't use and take them on your next trip
- Low Commission: Banks may charge a small commission when you cash your travellers cheques. The amount is set by the bank or bureau, and varies from location to location.
With travellers cheques, when you arrive you just pop into a bank, cash the travellers cheques and pay for your wedding. Simple and secure.
